Baltimore Ravens are looking forward to come back to the new season with extra strenght.Without Doubt,After cutting Jamal Lewis for legal issues,Ravens lost one of the central running backs in the league and his absence will obviously noticed.Baltimore Ravens lost not only Jamal Lewis, but also The line back Adalius Thomas.
Whatever they lose, the ravens still have strenght to go through 2007 season. But,what is still ununderstood is how the new offense will work together. The leadership of the offense will be given to Quarterback Steve McNair after his coming back even if his age is into question.Despite that McNair threw over 3,000 yards with a completion percentage of 63.7%, McNair also only threw just 16 touch down passes against 12 interceptions. For the Ravens,to put a legitimate offense McNair will have to improve his touchdown total. However,After the departure of Jamal Lewis, the Ravens has fill the empty position by bringing Willis McGahee.Even if the latter has not proven his talents especially at this position as he was mediocre at the best while playing for Buffalo with 990 yard and six touchdouns in 14 games. And he caught last year only 18 passes of the backfield.McGahe’s health too come into question because he bent his knee in the wrong direction and it has been an issue while playing in Miami. But,most still believe that McGahe is a talentous player.Morover, because of his age, wide reciever Derick Mason’s age is questionable and his abilities are umproven.Especially after he had appeared humbly last year in the leauge. Playing in all 16 games, Mason had just 68 catches for 750 yards and two touchdowns. Someone who emerged as a talented wide receiver was Mark Clayton. And many are expecting a wonderful season from him. After a slow start,he had 67 catches for 939 yards with five touchdowns.Covering the tight end is Todd Heap. He’s is considered the ‘new age’ tight end.Heap does more than catch the occasional pass. He plays like a wide receiver and in this offense he has proven that he is just as dangerous, if not more so, than Derrick Mason or Mark Clayton. That all being said, the Baltimore Ravens have a stacked defense. The Ravens defense is one of the main reasons that the Ravens went an incredible 13-3 last season. Defensively, many eyes will be on fourth year pro Jarret Johnson, who will take over at outside linebacker for free agent defection Adalius Thomas. Of course, losing Thomas will hurt, with with Trevor Pryce up at the front, Bart Scott, Ray Lewis, and Terrell Suggs at LB and Chris McAlister, Ed Reed, and Samarie Rolle in the secondary, the Ravens will win games with this defense. Also, despite Rolle’s disappointing performance last year, if he is healthy, look for a good season from Rolle.
despite a lot of predictions, many are expecting a good season from the Baltimore Ravens. And without dout they’ll do the possible to take good position in the league. And The Ravens still have a great deal of fans who’s ceasless love for their best team. There’s only one thing desturbs the Baltimore, and most of the teams of the leauge. It’s the prices of tickets. They becomes sky high and most are missing some games. But you may compare ticket prices for FREE at Ticketwood.com.Before booking a seat, compare prices, for all major events, including sports, cocerts, theatre…and more:

Baltimore Ravens Tickets - Draft Analysis
Filed Under Football | Comments Off
Brent Warnken asked:
Baltimore Ravens tickets don’t ever really need to get a boost in popularity. They always seem to be the most sought-after tickets in Baltimore. However, they just got a boost in appeal after the NFL Draft. The Ravens picked up some very good college graduates, and these rookies will certainly help the team in the upcoming season. But will they be a help to the parts of the team that were already pretty good? Or will the Ravens be aided in areas where the stats needed improvement in 2007? Let’s go over the ways that the new players will help the Ravens. Then, when you’re convinced that the Ravens will be a playoff team next season, you can get some Baltimore Ravens tickets for their upcoming games.
The ravens picked up Joe Flacco as their first pick in the NFL Draft. This quarterback out of Delaware was generally considered a good pick for the Ravens, as they have been searching for that franchise QB for some time. Flacco might be the guy. You can see why with the stats from last season. The Ravens quarterbacks (Kyle Boller, Steve McNair, Troy Smith and Mark Clayton) only threw 14 total interceptions last year, which was ahead of the curve for NFL teams. However, passing yardage for the team topped out at 3,035 yards, which was below average. Will Joe start next season? Or will one of the other QBs on the roster get the call? It will be an interesting offseason training camp.
The second player the Ravens picked up was Ray Rice, a running back from Rutgers. He was selected in the 2nd round, No. 55 overall. As you might know, the Ravens gained 1,797 yards on the ground, which was directly in the middle (16th). There were clearly problems on the offensive side of the ball, and they showed up in the stats. The Ravens lost a total of 26 balls to fumbles (ranked last in the league). This lead to an overall turnover differential of -17. Will Rice hold onto the ball? He did in college, but then again, he hasn’t played against the NFL linebackers and linemen that he will face in the big league. Even if he has some struggles early on, it would be hard to be a detriment in this category, considering where the Ravens are coming from.
Overall, we can see that the Ravens were pretty happy with their defense from last season, which is why they went after offense in the Draft. You should get Baltimore Ravens tickets for next year expecting to see a lot more Ravens touchdowns.
